This scarf is hand dyed by me in a shibori method which layers the two colours in sky like naturalistic patterns - this one is in turquoise and lavender purple. This is a design that I can safely repeat with very similar results so your scarf may not be the exact scarf pictured but it will be the same colours in the same technique.
At 14 x 72" it is long and wide enough to wear as a scarf or wrap around the shoulders. This 100% silk habotai scarf has a beautifully soft drape, partly due to the multiply dye baths and is a pure pleasure to wear! The colours glow and shimmer! The scarf has been heat set, washed and ironed, ready for easy care by you.
***This is a straight scarf, but can be ordered as an infinity loop if preferred. I simply sew the ends together in a simple seam. If you would like the infinity version, just add a note upon purchase - or if you forget, just convo me immediately after purchase.
Care for your scarf:
Your scarf is totally washable. Just gently hand wash in warm water with a tiny bit of liquid soap. Rinse, and roll in a towel for a few minutes, then iron while damp on a steam setting for a silky smooth result. The colours are set but during the wash you may see a bit of pale colour in the water -don't panic - this won't dye anything at this stage, just rinse as above.
SHIPPING NOTE: Scarves are posted in an envelope and ship inexpensively this way. This does not include tracking, but I have not had any problems so far. If you would prefer tracking, please convo me and we can work that out. The cost would be approximately $10 more.
Thanks for looking and enjoy!
Please pay for your item within three days. Email me right away if you have any special requests etc. I take paypal only.
I ship by Canada Post expedited. This will go by air internationally and in Canada. Most scarves can ship in a padded envelope and so are not expensive to ship by letter air mail. However this does not include tracking. There is however, a shipping upgrade available if you prefer to pay for tracking. When you checkout, there should be a down arrow by the 'standard shipping' box - click and you will see an amount for shipping with tracking.
Most of my scarves are already made, so I can ship out within 1-2 business days. However, a few styles are pictures of previously sold scarves whose colours and styles can be more or less repeated. (This is mentioned in the listing.) These can take up to 7 days to post.
Once I have posted an item, shipping times vary - anywhere on the east coast of Canada and the U.S. should take up to a week. Further west may take a week to 10 days. Internationally can take up to two weeks.
Refunds will be taken if I am notified within 7 days of your recieval of the item. The refund will be given once the item is returned and will be minus shipping costs.
